Called to check available tee times - much as expected, however, at no time until I arrived at the first green did anyone of the course staff mention they were doing maintenance and all of the greens were being topdressed. I have made it a mandatory policy at my own club - at any time a golfer is paying to play the course should be as expected.

Unusual course in that most of the toughness is close to the greens. Fairways realtively easy to get on. Lots of hidden problems throughout the course. Bent grass greens putt true, but hard to read. Last time I played I thought the greens were a little slow for bent. Overall a great challenge and a lot of fun. Beautiful course, good practice area, too.

Greens needed work, but have improved since I played last. Normally good, fairly fast receptive greens. Approach shots are difficult because the greens are elevated.

Played 4 rounds here. Two were in tournaments. Aced number 11 and the Course was nice enough to spring for 4 free rounds with cart since the tournament offered nothing for hole-in-one on that hole. The fact that they can keep bent grass growing in Texas heat is amazing. That said, for the future of the course and maintenance costs I would convert to tiff Bermuda greens and Zoysia fairways. It is beautiful and difficult. You can make it as hard as you would like by adjusting to the many tees.

Course management a must. 1st 4 holes especially challenging. Going for the green on #9 will cost you. Lots of water and trees. Nice staff with unique clubhouse. Can be a little pricey on the weekend during premium slot times.

Good layout, but excellent condition when North Texas area has been hot and dry for most of summer. Greens putted true and accurate. Tees and fairways were in excellent condition with good lies. Would play here again and recommend it to others. Challenging course so bring your A game since it has tight fairways with a number of doglegs & creeks.

Typical RTJ course, it just beats you up. Many holes are just brutal, 5 or 10 yards off line and you are dead. Of the first 5 or 6 holes, only number 2 is worthy of being rated as a good golf hole. From 7 on, the course is pretty good although poorly defined at a couple of points. The greens are bent and usually in good shape but have found them burned out and nearly bare dirt due to heat here. This is a last option course for me although I live within 6 or 7 minutes.

Beautiful layout. Be sure to lace-up your shoes for the first five holes as they are especially challenging. Playing the tips brings an added pleasure as the views from these tee boxes (especially #10 & #14), are spectacular.

Beautiful scenic layout! A fair test of golf with fairways that have hard slope-offs from fairways to roughs(classic Robert Trent Jones Jr feature). A great opportunity to use every club in your bag! Big Oak trees, creeks, and hidden lakes with well manicured bermuda fairways and big bent grass greens...not to be missed if you're in the area!

Sky Creek Ranch Golf Course will equal or exceed most of the private courses in the metroplex. Excellent greens and challenging fairways.

Great Course, wonderful greens. This is target golf with a lot of elevated greens. if you miss the greens add 1-2 strokes to the hole. Slightly overpriced but is usually in great condition.

I have been a member of this course for over 6 years and it just keeps getting better. Superintendent Stephen Best and his assistant Fernando with their outstanding cordial staff keep this course in excellent shape especially the beautiful and fast bentgrass greens (yes fast bentgrass greens in the 100* Summer heat) New General Manager Travis Schenk and new golf pro Ron Beutler make sure the rounds are played in less than 4:15 hours while also providing courteous and prompt service.
